Our story

It was in the 1999 when Mister Josef Mikeska from Čeladná, a small village under the Beskydy Mountains, started working with wooden materials. He designed and made his own frame saw, fitting his own needs when working with logs. Up to this day, it is fully functional and it does its work perfectly.

Five years later, he made his own first wood processing tools – a band saw and a hand planer that he needed for his work, building log cabins. His friends liked both of these tools, and so he made some for them, too – and an idea was born.

In the following years, the band saw and the hand planer underwent some innovations and design changes and became the products you can currently view in our offer.

All our tools are made of high quality, long-life materials. This means that for the customer, they are a one-time investment and will last for a long time. We emphasize handmade production and durable materials. Every tool is made of single parts, and these individual spare parts are always in stock.

All tools were used by Mister Josef Mikeska himself at his work. He passed away when he was 62, in 2022. His sons Luděk and Tomáš Mikeska have taken the continuation of his work, as well as the tradition of the name, onto their shoulders.

We continue writing the story of high quality Mikeska tools, shipped into the whole world. You can write new lines of the story with us – because you, our customers, are our best business card.

Come see us – we will always welcome you with open arms.

We’re looking forward to you!

Woodland Beetle, Jaroslav Hosek
Hello, I have been running a carpentry company for some years now. Yesterday, I received the Mikeska RPP 290 band saw. Today, I used it to build an entire roof with intricately decorated rafter heads and collar beams (I even made the saddles with it... well, actually almost everything). I have never done something like this before, but I decided to write to you. The saw is an absolute genius. I am truly thrilled with it. Thank you for your product. Maximum precision, brilliant maneuverability, significant time savings, and a great price. I wish you continued success in your future endeavors, and I give you my full support... once again, maximum praise, thank you. Best regards and respect, Wooodland Beetle, Jaroslav Hošek, and the remaining three carpenters
